Greater Glasgow and Clyde LDC are delighted to be able to present a free* verifiable CPD evening event on the subject of Oral Surgery. We are delighted to be able to welcome Andrew Mee, a specialist oral surgeon at a local oral surgery referral clinic, to give GDPs a realistic guide on what to extract, how to do it, and when to refer.

This course aims to:

  • Allow GDPs to correctly assess which oral surgical procedures are suitable  for management within primary care and which should be referred to specialist services.
  • Ensure GDPs are claiming the relevant codes under the SDR in order to make sure they are appropriately remunerated for Minor Oral Surgery procedures.
  • Give GDPs guidance on the types of oral surgery complication that may occur and guidance on how to manage these complications appropriately.

This course is aimed at GDPs and is free to those dentists who contribute to any Scottish LDC via a volutary levy mandate. Others are welcome to attend at a cost of £100.
