Temporary Clinical Waste Service Update

A contingency arrangement has been implemented by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for this service. Rentokil Initial UK has been appointed as the interim provider until the new National Contract is in place in Spring 2019.

Rentokil commenced this service on Monday 10^th December 2018 and are currently providing a reactive service.  Details of urgent uplift requirements will continue to be processed through Service Leads/Representatives who will forward to Procurement for actioning.  GDPs should send e-mail to GDSAdmin@ggc.scot.nhs.uk.

GDP practices can order Sharps bins and Clinical waste bags by contacting Procurement Customer Service at support@ggcprocurementcustomerservices.zendesk.com. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are working with Rentokil to resume a scheduled service and will provide an update when this has been arranged.
